CASSESE® CS 486 Ultra Air Operated Electronic Underpinner


	The CS 486 Ultra Air and Electric Underpinner combines the speed of a production joiner with the quality of a Cassese joint. This 5 position programmable nailer is quick and easy to program so frame changes can be made in a few seconds.
Thanks to the new pressure-sensitive nail sensor, the CS 486 Ultra never misses any wedges in a corner and always uses 100% of the wedges in a cartridge. Program up to 5 nailing positions in each corner with up to 3 nails stacked per position. Operates in either MANual or AUTOmatic mode. No pressure adjustment required when changing from soft to hard woods. No tools or adjustments required when changing size of wedges. Uses Cassese wedges in color coded cartridges for the best join possible.

A: Assembly angle is adjustable (+/-90 degrees) to prevent any gap to inside or outside of corner.
B: During the whole joining process, the mouldings remain tightly clamped. If wedges are to be inserted in several positions (areas) across the corner, the mouldings remain immobile, only the wedge distribution system will move.
C: Adjustable fences (+/- 90 degrees) take the shape of all kinds of mouldings at their back to prevent gaps on top or at bottom of assembly.

D: No more worries about chops that do not match well to each other; the world's most powerful rabet clamp and its new system that makes two jaws work together insure corners are always perfectly matched.

E: No risk of mouldings rocking or moving during assembly; the top presser of CS 486 Ultra moves together with the wedge distribution system. This way, the machine clamps the mouldings exactly on top of the area where the wedges will be inserted. Therefore, no need to adjust the position of the top presser.
